Carousel is a program comprised of several components. Each set's Teacher's Edition  includes more than 170 ELD lesson plans based on Carousel topics.　此套教材有許多教具組合成。每一套均有教師手冊，每一冊內容依據主題式教學均涵超過１７０個課程。

LPC

The Activity Book has reproducible patterns for games, Activity Pictures, and Level Assessments to determine students' placement into the program. 教師活動手冊有可複印的遊戲紙、字彙圖卡、及每一級的口語測驗。

Themes

Theme Pictures and Posters depict Carousel topics. Exercises printed on the reverse side develop language and critical thinking skills.

情境教學圖卡(小張的由教師拿在手上，大張的可展示在全班學生面前)依據每一個主題提供一情境讓學生做口語會話練習，並可啟發學生的思考。

Picture & Word Cards are color illustrations arranged by level with accompanying word cards. 字彙閃示卡　二張圖卡為一組: 彩色圖卡及字卡

The IDEA Picture Dictionary includes more than 600 words, pictures, phonetic pronunciations, and translations.　圖片字典 完全依據學生所學過的字，一本超過６００單字。每一個單字均含圖片、自然發陰及中文意義。

Optional (and highly recommended) Literature Books add significantly to student understanding. 美語故事讀本是選擇性的配套教材，但我們強力推薦搭配使用，可增加複習學生的語言理解力
